Jonesin' for Jazz Fest 2: The Food

Here's a couple of short videos on Jazz Fest food vendors, wittily dubbed "Jazz Fest Cui-Scenes".

In the first video, Wanda Walker from Love at First Bite/Walkers Barbecue breaks down the preparation of one of Jazz Fest's best-loved foods, the Cochon de Lait Po-Boy.

 

 

The second video features the Vaucresson Sausage Company, an original Jazz Fest food vendor. Vance Vaucresson gives a quick behind the scenes look at his family's Jazz Fest operation, which produces hot sausage crawfish sausage po-boys. At the 1976 Festival, New York Times Food Critic Mimi Sheraton named Vaucresson's hot sausage po-boy the "Best Food at the Fest."
