The 16th annual Wednesday at the Square in Lafayette Square lineup is underway, featuring local artists and food and drink vendors. The series continues through May. Each show is free to attend and runs from 5-8pm.

The version in the video below was filmed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1989, with Lee Allen Zeno on bass; Dennis Taylor, sax; Melvin Veazie, guitar; Patrick Landry, rubboard; Herman "Rat" Brown, drums.

Leonard Cohen performs "Suzanne" live on the Isle of Wight in 1970, during Cohen's first year of touring. The show became an album, Live at the Isle of Wight 1970. One of Cohen's best known songs, "Suzanne" had appeared on his first album, Songs of Leonard Cohen in 1967; even before that, it had been covered by Judy Collins on In My Life (1966).
