Casandra Faulconer

Since arriving in New Orleans in 1998, Casandra Faulconer has become one of the hardest working and most sought after bass players in the city. She's been nominated for an OffBeat award as one of New Orleans' best bass players, alongside George Porter, Jr. and James Singleton. Her deep pocket can make people dance all night long and her supportive, versatile playing keeps her gigging in a wide variety of settings almost every night of the week.

In addition to her extensive touring with the world's greatest female blues guitarist Debbie Davies, and acclaimed Jam scene raconteur Papa Mali, Cass has appeared and recorded with many of the city's most esteemed musicians including Charmaine Neville, Leslie Smith, Sista Teedy, Ingrid Lucia, Lynn Drury, Lenny McDaniel, Have Soul Will Travel, Eric Lindell, Bryan Lee, Theresa Andersson, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown & The Joe Krown Organ Combo.
